The MPL team were privileged to be with Dr. Mohammed Al-Nujaifi and his team at the 30th Dubai International Arabian Raceday meeting at Newbury on Sunday 23 September.
The advances of Dr Al-Nujaifi’s new book The Purebred Arabian Horses of Iraq arrived in the nick of time and received high praise from those lucky enough to get their hands on a copy.

The author’s top-class stallion Hilal Al Zaman put the seal on a superb day by winning the Group 1 race sponsored by Jebel Ali Racecourse (a thrilling finish in which he won by a nose against stiff opposition), cementing Dr Al-Nujaifi’s standing as the world’s number one Arabian racehorse owner.
Even the persistent rain couldn’t dampen the spirits on what was a wonderful day, with superb hospitality and good company!
