On 16 September 2010 the exhibition The Dhow, Mastery of the Monsoon opened at the Institute of Arab & Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter, organised by the MARES Project and sponsored by the Golden Web Foundation.
The exhibition, which ran until 17 December 2010, featured a fascinating collection of dhows from all around the Indian Ocean as well as pearling paraphernalia, dhow building equipment, and all things related to this unique and graceful wooden ship.
Medina Publishing were pleased to collaborate with the MARES Project in designing and producing the panels for the exhibition.
