The Pyramid Society Egyptian Event, was once again an enormous success. The gala dinner, with its Venetian Carnevale theme, was a splendid affair, with lively bidding at the live auction – including one of Peter Upton’s superb paintings.
The star guests, HRH Princess Alia al Hussein and Peter Upton, launched their book Royal Heritage, with a keynote lecture and signing of the 100 limited edition TPS copies. A moving talk by Princess Alia about the horses of the Royal Jordanian Stud received a standing ovation.
The Medina directors were given a very warm welcome by all and treated to a real taste of southern hospitality by the TPS, and the folks from Al Khamsa Inc and the Institute for the Desert Arabian Horse.
